volunteer with us!
Our SHE and Generation Next youth programs are always seeking dedicated volunteers and mentors to support our students both in and outside the classroom! If you're interested in discussing opportunities such as personal pathways to college or trade schools, tutoring, the arts, nutrition, hygiene, financial literacy and more with our students, please fill out this form.
Are you interested in mentoring?
We are currently looking for interested mentors willing to engage with Generation Next high school students to guide them through their personal pathways and/or four years of college. Your responsibility is to meet 1-2 times a year or as many as you'd like with your mentee to help them manage life's pathway. You will have to secure clearances and partake in training for mandated reporting and implicit bias. You can mentor 1 student only or as many as you'd like! Make an impact in someone's life today, sign up using the link below.
We're looking for job shadow hosts!
We are currently in search of companies interested in hosting our Generation Next students in our first job shadow experience! On Thursday, January 23, 2025, from 8 AM to 2 PM, Generation Next students will have the opportunity to experience a day in the life of a career interest of their choice. Students will have a questionnaire and reflection paper to fill out and must provide their own transportation and lunch. Student interests vary from medical, marketing, cyber security, project managing, finance, engineering, psychology and more! Help us match all of our generation next students by signing up to host a student(s) today! Reach out to our Gen Next coordinator, Amanda Starner at astarner@caclv.org.
